Project Guide: From Brief to Build
A clear overview of how projects are run. and why a structured, considered process consistently produces better results than building alone.

From Package Choice To Launch
A clear overview of each stage, so you know exactly what to expect before getting started.
Choose Your Package
Browse the available tiers and pick the one that fits your needs. Not sure which is right? A short conversation before you commit is included, no obligation, no sales pitch.
Step 1
Brief
You share your goals, content, and brand assets. This is also where we ask the questions most clients haven't thought to answer yet.
Step 2
Design And Build
Your website is designed and built as one seamless process, every decision informed by years of knowing what makes people stay, read, and act.
Step 3
Refine
Two rounds of revisions to fine-tune the design. Each round is based on a single, consolidated set of feedback to keep things moving efficiently.
Step 4
Launch
Your site goes live, usually within a few days of content being ready. A short post-launch period is included to handle any minor fixes or adjustments.
Step 5
Revisions and feedback
All packages include two rounds of revisions. This allows enough room to refine and polish the design, while keeping the project moving efficiently.
What is a revision round?
A revision round is based on a single, consolidated set of feedback. This avoids fragmented changes and helps maintain momentum throughout the build. Revisions are intended for refinement rather than rethinking the direction entirely.
What’s included
Copy updates
Image replacements
Minor layout adjustments
Small visual refinements
What’s not included
Full redesigns after approval
New page structures
Ongoing or ad-hoc changes outside revision rounds
Additional revision rounds can be added if needed.
CMS Explained
A CMS (Content Management System) is used when you need to manage repeatable content such as blog posts, case studies or similar.

How it works
A single template is created, which is then used to generate multiple entries. This allows new content to be added without additional design or build work.
Example
A blog typically consists of a listing page and a reusable article template, so any new posts created from that template don’t count as additional pages (as per our definition of a page).
When do you need a CMS?
A CMS is useful if you expect to update content regularly. If your site is mostly static, we usually wouldn't recommend setting one up.
Interactions and animations
All websites include modern, subtle interactions to create a more polished experience.

What’s included
Hover effects
Scroll-based reveals
Smooth transitions
How this scales across packages
Higher-tier packages include more refined and layered interactions.
The overall approach remains the same: clean, purposeful and not overdone.
Content and timeline
Each project is built around a fixed package. This keeps things predictable, both in terms of cost and delivery.
What you’ll need to provide
Final copy (text)
Images
Logo and brand assets
Not sure what to write or which images to use? Guidance on copy structure and image direction is included. We'll help you get it right before the build begins.
How content affects timeline
Final content should be ready before the build begins. This avoids delays and keeps the process efficient.
Typical timelines
A few days
A few days to ~1 week
~10 days to 2 weeks
Payment, support and ongoing updates
Ongoing updates
If you prefer not to manage the site yourself, an optional Care Plan is available. This includes hosting and small updates, and is designed for clients who want a more hands-off approach. If you expect regular content updates, a CMS setup is usually the better long-term solution.
Projects are split into two payments:
50% upfront to secure the project
50% before final handover
After launch
Once complete, the website is transferred to you and fully under your control. A short post-launch period is included to handle any minor fixes.
Additonal work and add-ons
Projects are intentionally scoped to stay focused and efficient.
Expanding your project
If additional features or pages are needed, these can be added at any point during the project.
All add-ons are clearly scoped and agreed upfront, so you know exactly what’s included and how it affects the timeline.
Additional work is charged separately and requires upfront payment before being scheduled into the build.
